This is Really Cool.

Kristen posted this on our office non-work-related list. I love when math and art come together; the result is often quite beautiful, and these pieces are no exception. Be sure to check out the videos for all the Waves.

Not that I needed any more motivation to stay off crystal meth...

...but if I did, this site would provide it. Eek.

Thanks to Kent for the link.

Quote of the Day
"However we treat the world, that's how we are treating Jesus because He is the cosmic glue."

- Paul de Vries, president of New York Divinity School
Evangelical Christian leaders declared their support on Friday for the Climate Stewardship Act, which was first introduced in 2003 by Arizona Republican Sen. John McCain and Connecticut Democrat Sen. Joseph Lieberman. The legislation, if passed, would "require that U.S. emissions return to their 2000 levels by 2010." The bill is (predictably) opposed by the Bush administration. Could environmentalism lead to a split in the Republican base?

Thanks to Kevin for the link.

Fun Fact

We (the US) outpace our nearest rival in military spending... by a factor of FIVE.

Seriously.

Thanks to Barnaby for the link.
